7th Annual
NIXONSTRONG Baseball Tournament 2026
The NixonStrong Baseball Tournament
⚾️ Because Some Games Are Bigger Than Baseball
The NixonStrong Baseball Tournament is more than a weekend of hits, runs, and trophies — it’s a celebration of faith, courage, and community coming together for a cause bigger than the game itself.
Every swing, every pitch, every cheer from the stands carries the spirit of Nixon Whatcott — a little boy who loved baseball, dreamed big, and showed us what true strength looks like. His fight against cancer inspired a movement built on hope, heart, and helping others.
This tournament unites teams, families, and fans not just to compete, but to give back. Every inning played helps raise awareness and funds for families facing pediatric cancer — families who need a community standing behind them, reminding them they’re not alone.
Because in the end, it’s not just about the scoreboard.
It’s about compassion, courage, and choosing to fight for something that matters.
When you step on that field, you’re part of something bigger — a game that changes lives.
You’re playing for the kids still in the fight, for the families who need hope, and for the legacy of one little boy who taught us all how to be NixonStrong.
This is more than baseball.
This is heart. This is purpose. This is #NixonStrong.

COACHES
Welcome to the Annual 2026 NIXONSTRONG Baseball Tournament. We are so excited to be able to host your teams.
We will be using the Utah Summit Athletics app to manage the schedules and bracket play throughout the tournament which should make it super easy to register, roster your players and manage schedules. Look for a link sent out to coaches via email to submit your rosters and have parents register their players.
Without the signed waivers and roster from the participants they will not be allowed to play in the tournament, which all can be found on the app and is easy to use. Thanks for your help and good luck in the tourney! If you need any additional help please feel to reach out me directly at nick@nixonstrongfoundation.org
